The bishops of the United States established the national collections to support the Church’s vital ministries in social justice, evangelization, and education, both here at home and around the world. These collections provide a powerful way for Catholics to respond to the call of the Gospel and to be faithful stewards of God’s gifts.
Jesus teaches us that the greatest commandments are to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul—and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Through the national collections, we have the opportunity to put that love into action, reaching out to those in need and supporting the mission of the Church worldwide.
When we give through our parish community, we join with Catholics across the country in a united expression of faith and charity. Together, we support:
Communities recovering from disaster,
Missions in remote and underserved areas,
Religious education and formation,
Efforts to defend human dignity and promote justice.
Whether across the street or across the globe, your support helps build up the Body of Christ.
