  • eucharistic exposition

    • Eucharistic Exposition is a form of prayer and worship where we spend time in the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. The consecrated Host is placed in a sacred vessel called a monstrance and set on the altar, allowing us to gaze upon and adore our Lord.

It’s a quiet, peaceful time to pray, reflect, and simply be with Jesus—heart to heart. Whether you stay for five minutes or a full hour, Exposition offers a powerful opportunity to deepen your relationship with God.

    • exposition Times

      • Monday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Resurrection
      • Tuesday: 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM St. Mary
      • Wednesday: 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM St. Peter
    • Want to commit to an hour?

We’re always looking for volunteers to cover each hour of Exposition so that our Lord is never left alone.

Contact any of our parish offices to learn more.

    • holy days of obligation

Holy Days of Obligation are special days in the Church calendar when Catholics are called to attend Mass, just as we do on Sundays. These days celebrate key events in the life of Jesus, Mary, and important saints. They are opportunities to grow in faith and stay connected to the life of the Church throughout the year.

Holy Days of Obligation in the United States:

      1. Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God – January 1

      2. Ascension of the Lord – 40 days after Easter (observed on the following Sunday in many U.S. dioceses)

      3. Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary – August 15

      4. All Saints’ Day – November 1

      5. Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary – December 8

      6. Christmas (The Nativity of the Lord) – December 25

Note: When certain Holy Days fall on a Saturday or Monday, the obligation to attend Mass may be lifted. Check with our parish calendar for specific observances each year.

  • praying the rosary

    • The Rosary is a beautiful and powerful form of prayer that helps us meditate on the life of Jesus through the eyes of His Blessed Mother, Mary. Using a string of beads, we reflect on key events (called mysteries) from the Gospels while repeating simple, heartfelt prayers. Whether prayed alone or with others, the Rosary brings peace, strengthens faith, and draws us closer to Christ.

“The Rosary is the weapon for these times.” — St. Padre Pio

Join Us to Pray the Rosary

We warmly invite you to join our parish to pray the rosary 30 minutes prior to our weekend Masses in the church.

Whether you’re new to the Rosary or have been praying it for years, all are welcome to come together in this special prayer.

    • How to Pray the Rosary: A Simple Guide

      1. Begin with the Sign of the Cross.
Hold the crucifix and make the Sign of the Cross.

      2. Pray the Apostles’ Creed.
Recite the Apostles’ Creed on the crucifix.

      3. Say the Our Father.
On the first large bead, pray the Our Father.

      4. Pray three Hail Marys.
On the next three small beads, pray one Hail Mary each—for faith, hope, and charity.

      5. Say the Glory Be.
On the chain after the three Hail Marys, pray the Glory Be.

      6. Announce the First Mystery and Pray the Our Father.
Each decade focuses on one Mystery (joyful, sorrowful, glorious, or luminous). Announce the Mystery, then pray the Our Father on the large bead.

      7. Pray ten Hail Marys.
On the next ten small beads, pray a Hail Mary for each bead while meditating on the Mystery.

      8. Say the Glory Be and the Fatima Prayer.
After the ten Hail Marys, pray the Glory Be and then the Fatima Prayer:
"O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Your mercy."

      9. Repeat steps 6-8 for the remaining four Mysteries.

      10. End with the Hail Holy Queen and the Sign of the Cross.

    • the sacrament of reconciliation

Reconciliation (also known as Confession) is a beautiful sacrament of healing where we receive God's mercy, forgiveness, and grace. By confessing our sins with a sincere heart, we are reconciled with God and the Church—and given the strength to begin again. Whether it’s been a few weeks or many years, Jesus is always ready to welcome you back with open arms.

“Confession is an act of honesty and courage.” – St. John Paul II

Confessions are heard 30 minutes before every Mass, except for the Wednesday school Mass and Saturday evening Mass, which follow this schedule:

      • Saturday, 3:00–3:50 PM

      • No confessions heard on Wednesday

You can also schedule a time by calling the parish office at 419-524-2572.
