QUALIFIED CHARISTABLE DISTRIBUTION (QCD)
A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows individuals aged 70½ or older to donate up to $100,000 per year directly from their IRA to a qualified charity without paying income tax on the distribution. -
APPRECIATED STOCK
Donating appreciated stock to a qualified charity is a tax-efficient way to support causes you care about. There are requirements and donation limits. Contact us and your broker on the steps to donate stock.

SCHOLARSHIP GRANTING ORGANIZATION (SGO)
SGOs are 501(c)(3) nonprofits certified by the Ohio Attorney General to collect donations and provide need-based scholarships primarily to low‑income K–12 students in Ohio.
Donations to certified SGOs qualify for a dollar-for-dollar Ohio state income tax credit.- Up to $750 per individual filer
- Up to $1,500 per married couple filing jointly
The credit is non-refundable - it cannot exceed your Ohio tax liability.
